Growing up, some little girls dream of being on the cover of fashion magazines. But not me. This is and always has been my dream. Representing women in the firearms, hunting and self-defense community. I am honored to be featured on the cover of the Ruger2019 Firearms Catalog along with Doug Koenig. Ruger embraces all safe, responsible gun owners making firearms for everyone from the competitive shooter, hunter, self-defense or backyard plinker. Making accurate, reliable firearms that everyone can afford. I am a proud Ruger American.

After days of sub-zero temperatures in Nebraska, listening to my best friend Jordan Budd “guide talk” about why the deer weren’t coming out of the fields, we finally found a good buck that we could put a stalk on. Needless to say, I was thrilled to tag this 11 point whitetail with some of my favorite people on the planet.

Kansas Whitetail Success with Prairieland Outfitters

It was an incredible week hunting whitetail in Kansas with Prairieland Outfitters LLC - the rut had just started heating up and I had lots of fun encounters with deer making for an exciting week. I literally saw a new buck on every sit and when this buck came in chasing off a young 8 and dogging does I was fortunate to capitalize on the opportunity and experience the frenzy of the rut.
