The WILL to Succeed...

The great thing about dogs is that they always teach us something and bring out our best, often times without us even realizing it.

I was walking the trail around Pilot Butte with my dogs Gus and Zoie just last week and today was my first day walking that very same trail in 13 years without Gus...that translates into no dog fights to evade which was really weird and not stopping for him to pee on bushes every 25 yards.

At the time, I did not know that he was only a couple of short days from passing away, mostly due to his inner WILL being so strong. Gus always gave 100% effort, always wanting to work, never quitting. He carried that same attitude up until the day he passed.

This WILL can and is found within each and every one of us. Everyone has varying levels of physical capability and each of us is responsible to locate that WILL within ourselves to move forward towards better health fitness. No one has ever given their best and regretted it. Thank you Gus for teaching me the value of strength and WILL. I love and miss you buddy.
